International Study Pathways
At A.T.I. Education, in partnership with Adelaide International School (AIS), we provide clear and flexible routes for students aiming to complete their senior studies in Australia and progress to leading universities worldwide.
Whether your child is currently studying in China or any other country, or has just finished junior high (Year 9/Grade 9), our programmes ensure a smooth transition into the Australian system while keeping future global options open.
Pathway Overview
Step 1: Academic English (EAP) – Study Online Before Arrival
Students can begin as early as the final year of junior high.
Delivered by Australian teachers, our EAP course provides recognised language credits.
This means students do not need IELTS and avoid spending extra time and money on language schools in Australia.
Step 2: IGCSE or AS Subjects – Foundation for Senior Study
After EAP, students either enter IGCSE (Year 10 in Adelaide) or, if already in Year 10/11 in their home country, take selected IGCSE or AS subjects online with A.T.I.
Completing at least five IGCSE subjects (worth 100 credits) satisfies the requirements of South Australia’s Year 11.
From here, students can:
Fast-track to Year 12 (SACE), or
Continue with AS and A Level studies.
Step 3: Year 12 Graduation – Two Pathways
SACE (South Australian Certificate of Education): The official high school diploma of South Australia, giving students direct entry to Australian universities. When applying outside Australia, additional documents such as school references may be required.
A Level (Cambridge International A Levels): The globally recognised British qualification, accepted directly by over 950 universities worldwide. No extra paperwork is needed, making it the most flexible option for students aiming at the UK, US, Canada, Singapore, or other top destinations.
Why Families Choose A.T.I.
Global access – Students from any country can join.
Recognised Australian enrolment – Even online study provides Australian school registration.
No IELTS needed – EAP completion satisfies language requirements.
Two clear options – SACE for a faster, cost-efficient path into Australian universities; A Levels for global flexibility.
Smart investment – Save one year of study and living costs while keeping doors open to top universities worldwide.
